| In the case of commissioned objects, one-third of the purchase price is payable upon signing an agreement to purchase and the balance is payable upon completion and before delivery. In the case of purchases of completed items from my gallery, the entire purchase price is payable at the time of sale. Delivery within the Los Angeles area is free unless trucking is required. Delivery outside of Los Angeles will generally require packaging or crating, and objects will be shipped by truck, air freight or UPS depending on size, weight and time considerations. Clients will be billed for these services at cost. Commissioned objects are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for five years. Purchases of completed items from my gallery carry the same guarantee except those designated as "Gallery Clearance" items; these are generally older pieces that may be lightly used and which have been heavily discounted. They are sold as is. The guarantee does not apply to the natural darkening of woods as they age. Some finishes may need to be refreshed or redone from time to time; the guarantee applies to a finish only when it fails to meet the standards applicable to the particular finish involved. California sales tax will be charged on items delivered to destinations within California. |
